Sessions

A place to slow down and listen.

Collaborative, gently paced Hakomi sessions for adults, online or in person from a private home office on Kauaʻi.

01

60–90 minutes

Enough time to arrive, follow what is present, and close with care.

02

Online

Meet from a private, comfortable place anywhere the service can appropriately be offered.

03

In person

A quiet, private home office on Kauaʻi. Access details are shared before your visit.

What to expect

Your experience leads.

A session begins by contacting what feels alive in the present moment. Rather than imposing a predetermined agenda, Elana follows your unfolding process with you.

You might notice sensation, emotion, an image, a memory, a shift in breathing, a gesture, or words that seem to carry particular weight. There is no correct way to experience a session.

  1. Arrive

We begin with what is here today.

  2. Notice

Attention gently turns toward present-moment experience.

  3. Follow

We stay curious about what unfolds, without forcing.

  4. Integrate

We make space to orient and close with steadiness.

“Nothing needs to be pushed open. You remain an active participant in every part of the process.”

Choice remains with you

You can pause at any time.

We work collaboratively. You can ask questions, change direction, slow down, or stop. Protective responses are approached with respect, not treated as resistance.

No previous experience with mindfulness, somatic work, or therapy is needed.

Your first session

An invitation to experience yourself differently.

The first session offers a compassionate place to slow down, connect with what is alive inside, and begin noticing what may be asking to move, soften, or be met.

There is no expectation of a dramatic breakthrough. We will also make room for questions, context, and a conversation about what support might feel useful.
